  One of the most beautiful temples. It is located in the center of Nis. Orthodox church dedicated to the Saint of the Holy spirit - the Holy Trinity. It dates back to the 19th century, and after the Belgrade temples it is the most important monument in the south of Serbia. The icons that were made for her iconostasis are magnificent and represent a milestone in Serbian art history. The creation of the iconostasis is a turning point because it was done in a new style - academic realism. Djordje Krstic perfectly demonstrated one of the icons "The Death of Prince Lazar", which is completely realistic. Academic realism received new wings with these performances, which in Serbia was magnificently demonstrated also by Paja Jovanovic with his numerous works. In front of the church is a handful of young children playing, and it is definitely a recommendation to visit.

  Саборни храм у Нишу Саборна црква у Нишу је храм Српске православне цркве и посвећена је силаску Светог духа — Светој тројици. После храма светог Саве и цркве светог Марка у Београду, Саборна црква у Нишу је највећа у Србији. Саборна црква у Нишу тешко је страдала у савезничком бомбардовању 1944. и у пожару 2001. године. Црква је започета да се гради 1856. године, а завршен 1872. године. Бомбардовање 1944. године Током савезничког бомбардовања 4. априла 1944. године, тешко је оштећен храм. Потпуно је уништена галерија храма капела посвећена св. Јовану Крститељу и капела св. Апостола Никанора.Захваљујући донацијама црква је брзо санирана и оспособљена за богослужења већ у јуну 1945. године. Године 2001. храм је изгорео у пожару. Потпуно је изгорео иконостас , царске двери, уништене фреске, једино је остала сачувана икона Свете Тројице. Узрок пожара још увек није разјашњен али се нагађа да је у питању непажња. Храм је у потпуности обновљен и освештан 8. октобра 2006. године.
